Welcome to Narratives of Spiritual Identity, a podcast about the spiritual lives and experiences of members of new religious movements and practitioners of alternative spiritualities.
The podcast host is Brandi Estey-Burtt. Brandi has a PhD in postsecular literary studies from Dalhousie University. For many of the episodes, Brandi will be speaking with Dr. Clive Baldwin, the lead researcher for the Narratives of Spiritual Identity Project and director of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Narrative at St. Thomas University. They are joined by Lauren Ripley, research assistant for the project. Together, Clive and Lauren have interviewed a wide range of participants from around the world. In the future, they will be focusing on new religious movements and alternative spiritualities specifically within Canada. Other episodes feature interviews with members of NRMs and practitioners of AS.
